Powered by AX3000 technology, the Deco X55 delivers combined speeds of up to 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 2,402 Mbps on the 5 GHz band, making it a strong fit for households with internet plans up to 1 Gbps.
Each of the three Deco X55 units features a 1 GHz dual-core processor, three Gigabit Ethernet ports (nine total across the system), and support for wired Ethernet backhaul. The system supports MU-MIMO, OFDMA, beamforming, BSS Color, and 160 MHz channel width on the 5 GHz band for improved speed and efficiency across congested networks.
All three units operate under a single network name (SSID) with 802.11k/v/r roaming protocols, so connected devices transition between nodes without dropping the signal. TP-Link's AI-Driven Mesh technology learns your network environment and automatically optimizes connections based on client quality and usage patterns.
The Deco X55 supports up to 150 connected devices simultaneously and is compatible with all other TP-Link Deco models for easy expansion. Security features include WPA3 encryption and TP-Link HomeShield, which provides network scanning, parental controls, and IoT device protection. Each unit can function as a router or access point depending on your setup.
Setup and management are handled through the TP-Link Deco app for iOS and Android. The system also supports Amazon Alexa voice controls, IPv6, IPTV, and guest network creation on both bands.
